Central earns 1st winning season

Wellington - A missed extra point cost Boynton Beach a chance at triple overtime
In a back-and-forth game, it was host Palm Beach Central that outlasted Boynton Beach 40-39 in double overtime Friday in the regular-season finale.
Palm Beach Central took the lead in the second extra session on a Jon Bostic 10-yard run. Patrick O'Donnell kicked the extra point for a 40-33 Broncos lead. Isaiah Howard scored on 10-yard run for the Tigers but the missed PAT was the difference.
Bostic ran for 110 yards and three touchdowns, the two most important coming in the overtime periods.
Backfield mate Alex Muniz added 105 yards on 16 carries.
With the win, the Broncos (6-4, 2-2) secured the first winning season in the school's history.
The Tigers (4-6, 3-2) were led by a bevy of running backs, notably Howard, who contributed 72 yards and two touchdowns on five carries.
