Quiet Waters Park hosts hayride and campfire
Come fall leaves will flutter to the ground. Somewhere. Just not in South Florida.
But Floridians can still enjoy one of the better parts of autumn: hayrides.
Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach will host a family hayride and campfire from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 6.
The event includes one bag of fixings to make s'mores. The fee is $3 per-person. These foods will be available for purchase: hot dogs ($1.75), chips ($.50), hot chocolate ($1), bottled water ($1.25), Gatorade ($1.50), and extra s'mores fixings ($1).
To make your reservation, call 954-360-1315. The park is at 401 S. Powerline Road.
The next hayrides and campfires at the park are scheduled for Jan. 3 and Feb. 7, 2009.
